30+ year company is looking to hire motivated laborers who want to work and learn a valuable trade.
This is a full-time position that requires 45-60 hours a week Monday - Saturday.
As a General Laborer for an Asphalt & Concrete Contractor, you will be integral to our construction projects, focusing on asphalt raking, concrete forming, and utilizing hand and power tools. Reporting to the site supervisor, your role involves assisting in various tasks, including rebar installation and operating concrete mixers. A valid Chauffeurs Permit and Driver's License are required for this position. Your mechanical knowledge and ability to read blueprints will enhance project efficiency, while your experience in carpentry and renovation will contribute to our team's overall success in delivering high-quality results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate hand and power tools for concrete forming and finishing tasks.
Assist in the installation of rebar and preparation of surfaces for asphalt and concrete applications.
Read blueprints and follow specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
Maintain a clean and safe construction site, adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Obtain and maintain a Chauffeurs Permit and Drivers License for transportation of materials and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Physically able and willing to work in all weather conditions
Valid Driver's License (Chauffer's License preferred)
Reliable transportation
Punctuality
