Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dependable House Cleaner to join our team in the Metro Detroit area. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their responsibilities, communicate proactively about schedule changes, and deliver exceptional cleaning services. This role is best suited for someone with at least one year of professional cleaning experience, reliable transportation, their own cleaning supplies, and a proven ability to manage their time effectively. The House Cleaner will play a key role in ensuring our clients’ spaces are clean, welcoming, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of residential and rental properties in the Metro Detroit area, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Clean kitchens and bathrooms, including sinks, countertops, appliances, toilets, and tubs/showers.
Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping.
Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient workflow (candidates must provide their own supplies).
Adhere to safety protocols when using cleaning products and equipment.
Maintain clear communication and notify management promptly if unable to attend a scheduled cleaning.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards encountered during cleaning tasks.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional cleaning experience required.
Reliability: Must have reliable transportation, show up on time, and communicate any scheduling conflicts in advance.
Ownership: Take responsibility for completing tasks to the highest standard and managing your schedule effectively.
Flexibility: Capacity to take on additional cleaning assignments as needed.
Supplies: Must provide your own cleaning supplies.
Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
