Looking for a few people with a good work ethic to help a seasoned team do quality work. 1+ seasons of professional landscape experience is needed for consideration.
Company location: Royal Oak. Most of our work is performed in Huntington Woods, Berkley, Birmingham and Southfield.
Company history: Company has been serving the community since 1981.
Ability and willingness to perform the following duties:
Planting trees, shrubs and flowers. Mulching, laying sod and shrub trimming.
Use of hand and power tools to perform a wide range of lawn and landscape duties.
Work for extended periods of time in various weather conditions, including overtime.
Work from elevated heights such as an 8 A-frame ladder.
Clean and maintain equipment
Follow direction from the team lead and willingness to provide productive feedback to help us do a better job.
Job Qualifications:
Must be willing and able to communicate with others. We are good people and want to work with good people.
Must be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day.
Must be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, i.e., rain, heat, sun, cold. (Within reason of course.)
Must be able to lift, move up to 50 lbs. on an infrequent basis, and up to 10 lbs. on a frequent basis.
Must have endurance necessary to perform these duties throughout a standard 8/10 hour day.
Must be able to operate all required tools and equipment.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work and a valid drivers license is a great thing too.
