I am looking to hire Masonry Journeymen to expand my small company. Our work is primarily 70% residential and 30% commercial. We do everything masonry related, brick, block, stone and concrete work.
Summary:
Atlas Masonry Services is seeking a Journeyman experienced in the construction of projects using brick, block, and/or stone.
Experience with concrete work is a huge plus.
Job site responsibilities
-Installation of brick/block/stone to meet projected production rates and deadlines
-Installation of waterproofing products
-Must be familiar with installation of the appropriate Stone Masonry Veneer Patterns
-Must be proficient in the installation of the following project types
-brick replacement
-building new brickwork/blockwork
-installing stone veneers and full bed stone
-tuckpointing
-chimney work
-Must be comfortable working in areas above 10 ft in a safe workmanship manner
-Operator experience is a plus
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5 years journeyman level masonry experience
Requirements:
-High school diploma or GED certificate
-Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
-Reliable Transportation
-Positive attitude and interest in the masonry trade
-Attention to detail
-Excellent communication skills
-Positive attitude
-Ability to adapt to changes and flexibility
-Ability to bend lift and squat up to 50 lbs
-Able to work independently or as a team in order to complete daily tasks
-Ability to use hand and power tools
Minimum of $30 an hour with opportunity for more based on experience. Pay determined by experience. Operator experience will be compensated. Room for promotions based on performance and growth during tenure.
