Small Plaintiff's firm seeks summer law clerk with possibility of staying on after the end of the summer.
Duties will include:
- Answering discovery, drafting basic motions
- Trial and case evaluation preparation
- Summarizing of depositions transcripts and medical records
- Draft demand letters.
Will provide training and provide templates for drafting.
Ideal candidate should also be able to do the following:
Perform initial intakes with potential clients
Able to perform legal research and writing, as needed
Communicate with clients
Computer literate.
Well-organized team player.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
(BONUS) - Knowledge of MyCase Management System.
Highly interested in candidates with prior personal injury/ employment law experience, but not required
