CNC Maintenance Technician

Relocation Package for a CNC Maintenace Technician

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

We are seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team! The incumbent will maintain and repair CNC machines like Lathes, Mills, Grinders, etc. As a CNC Maintenance Technician, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of CNC machinery. With core skills in E & I, mechanical and electrical knowledge, and industrial maintenance, you will perform tasks such as mechanical troubleshooting, calibration, and precision measuring. Responsibilities: Installs, maintains, and repairs CNC machinery by performing the following duties.

- Level and alignment of machines and other various equipment.

- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment

- Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and Identify, repair or replace damaged components.

- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts

- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery

- Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, Servo systems, transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic - components of machinery and equipment

- Perform routine preventative maintenance

- Troubleshoot and repair of major machine tool and equipment problems.

- Disassemble, repair and rebuild equipment sub-assemblies and assemblies.

- Organize, tag and mark components for future assembly.

- Report activities, hours and expenses timely and accurately.

- Communicate with customers, vendors and OEM's personnel.

- Keep work area neat, clean and organized.

- Work with very limited supervision.

- Planning/Organizing - Uses time efficiently

- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

- Other duties as assigned.

​Qualifications:

- Machine tool and equipment knowledge and terminology.

- Must Know how to operate CNC Machines.

- 3 or more years of experience in machine tool and equipment maintenance.

- Ability to read and analyze mechanical assembly drawings and blueprints.

- Ability to operate Fork Lift, Scissor Lift, and Boom lift if needed.

- Intermediate knowledge of parametric programming and ladder logic.

- Extensive knowledge of customer's safety practices and procedures.

- Intermediate computer skills.

- Moderate troubleshooting abilities.

- Good understanding of CNC controls and functions.

- Ability to read and understand electrical assembly drawings and schematics.

- Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.

- Previous experience in machinery repair, maintenance or other related fields.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

- Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
