We are seeking a skilled Furnace Operator to join our team. As a Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining furnaces. This is a critical role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our products meet quality standards and are produced efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor furnaces to ensure proper temperature levels
- Load and unload materials into the furnace using appropriate equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on furnaces, including cleaning and replacing parts as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions that may arise during operation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Furnace Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of furnace operations, including temperature control and maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with metalworking processes, such as fabricating, electrical discharge machining, lathe work, press brake machine operation, sheet metal forming, etc.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools and other hand tools for quality inspection
