Position responsible for building electrical control panels and wiring industrial machines daily while establishing a safe and efficient work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Layout and wire control panels according to CAD drawings and bill of materials.
General duties will include assembly of control panels and enclosures, mounting components on panels, wire cutting, stripping, soldering, crimping, & terminating wires.
Skills and Qualifications:
High School diploma or its equivalent
Graduate of a technical school with emphasis in electrical work is a plus.
Ability to work under direct supervision, within broad guidelines of procedures and goals.
Basic knowledge of electrical theory and shop standards.
Be able to use tools such as pliers, knives, hacksaws, wire strippers and other small tools.
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain professionalism among co-workers and customers.
Must be dependable; trustworthy; and possess a positive and productive attitude.
Willing and able to work a flexible schedule that includes extended hours.
