We're a small manufacturing company in Macomb County, producing prototype and short run stampings. Growing at a steady clip until several years ago when several of our major customers either went out of business or changed their focus away from prototyping to production assemblies, with them went dozens of jobs that we had been running for years. Long story short, I'm finding it difficult to get past the gatekeepers and snag up some quality new customers. We are debt free and own all of our equipment outright, but struggling.
Here's what I'm offering the right person: 33% ownership of the company. Outright. I would obviously prefer someone with a background in prototype stampings and assemblies. You may have to continue working your current job for a few months until the coffers are filled again, or if your retired or semi-retired you could dive right in. I've got 40 years in the trade and I haven't been stumped yet, so if you can sell widgets, I can make them.
If your interested please email me with your qualifications and ideas. I will sit down with the right person and discuss the specifics.
