Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team as a Quality Control leader.
Duties:
- Read blueprints, sketches, or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.
- Inspect finished workpieces using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and micrometers
Experience:
-Job Shop experience to inspect single and multiple details to print
- Multitasker and little to no supervision/self starter
- Proven experience as a Machinist or Quality Control.
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes
- Ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Basic math skills for performing calculations and measurements accurately
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of tooling concepts
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and micrometers
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
