Russo Bakery is a wholesale bakery seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team on first shift. The Dough Prep will play a crucial role in ensuring our product is in pristine shape before it goes off to the baking team. This position requires attention to detail, basic math skills, strong communication and the ability to be on your feet throughout the duration of the shift. Applicants should be able to push & pull our bread racks while also bending and lifting our bread trays/crates.
Duties include:
Unload and load dough into machinery and onto pans for baking
Work on an assembly line of 2-6 in stations throughout the day
Ensure all product is of quality
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols
Lift, bend, push and pull bread racks, trays and crates.
Perform basic math to work through daily order list
Job Specifics:
Full-time, 5 days per week - Sunday, Monday (off Tuesday), Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (off Saturday)
$15/hour starting paid weekly
7am start time, usually a 8-10 hour shift but variable depending on daily orders
Paid and on-site training, no prior bakery or food industry experience needed
