Job Description Surface Grinder Hand
Some experience is required
Practical experience with stack up tolerances, holding close tolerances, and final fit and function
Good organizational skills
Flat grind work, grinding angles, spin table work, use a radius dresser, use a roll checker.
Willing to run other grinding machines is a plus but not required. (ID, OD Jig Grinder)
Functions on a Daily Basis
Qualifying holes to an edge, holding size and tolerance, square'ness, are all checked daily so Grinder Hand should understand these terms and have the ability to control these features.
We run low production prototype work including high-speed spindles, tool holders, and Gage fixture and detail work.
Willingness to work with others.
Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot.
