MRA is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounting Clerk to join our rapidly growing mobile experiential tour team.

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing clerical support to MRA’s Accounting department. Under the management of the CFO and Assistant Controller, the Accounting Clerk’s primary goals are to post day-to-day financial transactions in databases. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger recording, employee expense report processing, clerical responsibilities and all other duties as requested by the CFO or the Assistant Controller.

Key Responsibilities (included but are not limited to):

General ledger postings and reconciliations in a timely manner

Expense report and receipt processing, posting, and reconciliation in a timely manner

Communication with company employees regarding reports, missing receipts, and reconciliation of their expense reporting

Daily enter of other key data of financial transactions in database

Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies

Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas

Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws

Constantly update job knowledge

Support Assistant Controller in daily functions

Filing and other clerical duties

Skills/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or 2 years’ experience in account clerk or relevant professional field

Understanding of basic accounting principles and best practices

Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment

Be detail oriented and expeditious

Working knowledge of basic accounting software and Microsoft Office.
