Inside Sales/Purchasing Associate (Rochester Hills)
Rochester Hills Manufacturer seeks individual with mechanical aptitude to support the Inside Sales/Purchasing Dept. Must be organized, detail orientated and able to handle multiple assignments.
Duties would include:
Order entry and order coordination between Inside Sales and the Production/Shipping Dept.
Preparing quotes
Preparing documents required for shipments including: packing slips, bill of ladings, customs documentation and tags
Purchasing/expediting
Writing of and/or amending procedures
Handling large equipment shipping coordination requirements
Obtaining freight rates for quotes and order requirements
Handling freight claims
Applicant minimum requirements:
Minimum two years of college
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe and the Internet
Professional oral and written business communication skills
Positive attitude and a team player
Ability to work M-F, 8-5 pm
