Position: Office Coordinator
Compensation: $16.00 per hour
Location: Livonia, MI
Schedule: Monday 7:30am to 5:00pm, Tuesday-Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:00pm to 2:00pm. May require flexibility on weeks in which there is a holiday.
LaJoy Group Inc. is seeking a qualified and motivated person to join our team as an Office Coordinator to work with candidates, employees and management. This candidate will play a vital part in onboarding employees, file management and auditing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to management and office staff including distribution of mail, filing and outgoing mailings.
Conduct monthly checks for auditing and compliance.
Work directly with candidates and management to ensure onboarding paperwork is completed properly and timeline. Including background checks, I9 compliance, data entry and reference checks.
Assist with office duties including supply order, stocking and organizing. General cleaning and removal of trash.
Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets and tracking software.
Main point of contact for office deliveries and phone calls. Uphold confidentiality when working with HIPAA protected information.
Additional tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in an administrative/ support role.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Desire to continuously improve skills and complete tasks more efficiently
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
