Assistant Property Manager

We are looking for a competent Assistant Property Manager to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Responsibilities:

Answering phones and attending clients and prospects.

Support Maintenance coordinator with issues by logging requests and ensuring timely resolutions.

Sort and distribute communications to owners, tenants, and vendors efficiently.

Support scheduling and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely completion of maintenance.

Assist the office manager and front office staff with administrative tasks as needed.

Maintain and update office and team calendars, scheduling appointments and meetings.

Collaborate with the Field Specialist daily to ensure route accuracy and optimize efficiency.

Maintain strong, trusting relationships with vendors, tenants, and property owners.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

Assist with marketing efforts and preparation of rental property listings.

Skills:

No experience required, however someone with minimum of 2 year of related experience in property management (preferred)

Excellent customer service skills

Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role

Strong knowledge of “back-office” computer systems and processes

Proficiency in using standard office equipment

Deep understanding of office management procedures and best practices

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks efficiently

Strong analytical abilities and aptitude for problem-solving

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Day shift

Monday to Friday
