Position: Single-Family Home Leasing Agent (1099 Independent Contractor)
Location: Detroit, MI
Compensation: 100% Commission-Based (Earn competitive commissions per lease signed)
ABOUT US:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct engaging tours of single-family homes for prospective tenants
Screen applicants and finalize lease agreements for single-family properties
Promote available single-family homes through online listings, social media, and local outreach
Provide weekly updates on individual properties, including leasing progress and tenant feedback
Build strong relationships with tenants to drive lease renewals
Stay informed about Detroit’s single-family rental market trends
QUALIFICATIONS:
1+ year of experience in leasing or sales of single-family homes (required)
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with email and online platforms
Experience using property management software (e.g., Buildium, Propertyware, or AppFolio)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills for a commission-based, independent contractor role
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
