Sugar Market is a new, friendly local grocery store hoping to providing our community with quality products and great service. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Grocery Store Manager to join our team and lead our store.
Job Description:
As the Grocery Store Manager, you will be in charge of the daily operations of our store. Your main goal will be to ensure that our customers have a positive shopping experience and that the store runs efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Make sure our customers are happy and assist them with any concerns.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and manage store employees. Create work schedules and ensure we have enough staff.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of stock levels, order new products, and manage inventory to reduce waste.
- Sales & Profitability: Develop strategies to boost sales and manage the store’s budget.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, safe, and organized.
- Merchandising: Set up attractive product displays and promotions.
- Reporting: Prepare sales and inventory reports.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail management, especially in a grocery store/supermarket.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Customer service and communication skills.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management and basic budgeting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
