We are looking for a full time manager in fitness equipment sales in Macomb County.
Candidate would be a salesperson who is motivated and proactive in building clientele. Fitness industry knowledge either professionally or as a hobbyist is preferred but not crucial for candidates.
Job Description:
Our ideal applicant would be someone long term that wants to grow with our company. We supply specialty fitness exercise equipment to consumers and commercial exercise equipment to businesses. As a small business our employees represent a “jack of all trades” and are able provide our customers and clients with the best level of service possible. Potential applicants would be able to prioritize tasks to stay focused on sales but also happy to get their hands dirty if it means a better experience for our customers and clients.
Hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00am-6pm, Saturday 10:00am-5pm.
Scheduled 2nd day off mid-week or as needed.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Help with day to day operations in running a retail store.
Assist walk in customers and call on customers.
Work towards sales goals.
Assist general manager with commercial sales and tasks.
Build a clientèle (more details in interview)
Dress business casual.
Visit and/or assist on a job site.
Basic knowledge of tools / ability to follow assembly instructions (more details in interview)
Job Experience:
Past sales or fitness industry experience is a plus but not required, we will train you.
Job availability:
Starting ASAP
Compensation:
Hourly, 5 day work week
Commission
Spiffs (Bonus paid directly by manufacturers)
