We are looking for a bright, sales oriented person, who can meet with interested buyers of our homes and show them properties for sale. You should live within 6-8 miles of Central High School/Boston Edison.
Skills:
- some sales skills / experience would be nice but not necessary
- organizational and time management skills
- relationship and excellent communication skills (diplomatic, neutral, knowing what needs to be communicated vs what doesn't)
- comfort with common administrative softwares
- project management skills (able to juggle several projects at one time)
- excellent follow-up skills
- some administrative skills (typing, emailing, filing, organizing, scheduling, follow up)
Types of relevant work experience which could prepare you for this job:
- 5+ years work experience - general
- land contract home sales
- traditional home sales
- other sales
- work on or familiarity with home repair / construction
- project management (organizing information and communicating between 2 or more parties)
Presentation and attire:
- "professional" but not necessarily flashy
- clean / neat
- comfortable clothing
- appropriate clothing for the conditions (wet or cold weather, walking around in unfinished houses in various weather conditions)
Applicants should have one or more of the following:
- a reliable vehicle
- a legal driver's license
- a laptop or if no laptop, a tablet with attachable keyboard
- if no laptop, a smartphone may be enough
Education:
- High school diploma is a minimum requirement.
- We will prioritize candidates with a college degree, community college degree, and/or professional certifications.
