About Us:
Prestige Freight LLC is a leading transportation company seeking an experienced and skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a mechanic with our company, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks and trailers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
- Replace parts and components as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a mechanic
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- ASE certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and truck repair
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
