Michigan has many job opportunities and this trend will continue for the foreseeable future. Due to our high workload, the replacement of retiring members, and the amount of new work, we need qualified electrical workers to join us!
Our current demand includes heavy industrial and commercial projects in southern Michigan, construction of Detroit high-rises, various assembly plant projects around Detroit, power plants in Marshall, Niles, and Lansing as well many smaller commercial and residential projects.
Thereâs also an increased demand for low voltage work.
Our line construction people are also busy for the foreseeable future. We need a range of classifications, including linemen, line clearance, and substation technicians.

We have Locals in Detroit, Kalamazoo, Ann Arbor, Battle Creek, Traverse City, Saginaw, Lansing, Bay City, Flint, Grand Rapids and the Upper Peninsula. Our Line Locals are based in Detroit and Mount Pleasant (which covers all of Michigan except the Detroit area).
