The Bluestone Construction Group has immediate openings for construction Laborer & Delivery Person in the Metropolitan Detroit area.

BONUS: $1000.00 cash bonus paid after successful completion of 90 day probationary period

Compensation: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour base pay

As a Bluestone Carpenter you will with dedicated team members to erect, install and repair structures of metal stud, wood stud, plywood, sheathings, insulation, drywall and acoustical treatments making sure they conform to the local building code and have fun doing it.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform the job
- Ability to communicate with fellow team members and to work as a team
- Possess a valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus) and have an acceptable driving record
- Has a sense of direction and ability to read maps and use navigation systems
- Load and unload material deliveries
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Must keep work areas clean
- Knowledge of and ability to perform light carpentry work is a plus
- Erect scaffoldings
- Inventory material deliveries
- Work with little supervision and as a part of a team to complete projects
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Some construction experience
- Ability to learn quickly
- Reliable transportation
- Hard working and punctual
Essential Physical & Cognitive Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Ability to multi-task
- Work in a variety of weather conditions in an outdoor environment
- Continuous lifting, pushing and pulling of objects
- Good physical fitness, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and balance
