We are actively seeking Licensed Electricians for an ongoing conveyor installation project in Detroit, Michigan. This is a great opportunity for experienced electricians with a valid State of Michigan Electrical Licensewho are ready to work on a high-demand, long-term industrial project.
Position: Licensed Electrician
Location: Detroit, MI
Pay: $50 per hour (based on experience and license type)
Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Project | Overtime Available
Key Responsibilities:
Install and wire conveyor systems in a fast-paced industrial environment
Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Install panels, motor controls, limit switches, sensors, and related components
Bend and run conduit (primarily EMT) with precision and efficiency
Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC and Michigan electrical codes
Collaborate with other trades and project managers to ensure jobsite efficiency
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Requirements:
Valid State of Michigan Electrical License (Journeyman)
Minimum 3 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience
Experience with conveyor system installation highly preferred
Proficient in bending conduit and reading technical drawings
Must have your own tools and PPE
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Willingness to work overtime as needed
