About Us:
Charles Hamlet Apartments is a 124-unit residential community focused on creating a safe, well-maintained, and comfortable living environment for our residents. We are currently seeking hard-working and reliable Maintenance Workers / Laborers to join our property management team.
Responsibilities:
Assist with general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the apartment community
Perform basic carpentry, painting, and repair work as assigned
Read and follow measurements using a tape measure accurately
Carry out groundskeeping tasks, such as trash pickup and seasonal upkeep
Work independently and with the maintenance team to complete projects on time
Report issues and follow instructions from the Head of Maintenance or Property Manager
Requirements:
Previous maintenance, construction, or laborer experience required
Must know how to read a tape measure
Must provide own basic hand tools (wrenches, pliers, screwdriver set, hammer, tape measure, battery drill gun, battery impact driver wrench, etc.) We can also provide you a list of items that are most commonly used. We have some of the bigger, less used tools like large saws etc.
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more at times and perform physical labor as needed
Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation a plus, must use your own vehicle on-site at times.
Schedule & Pay:
Full-time or part-time available, depending on workload
Pay: ($20) to start, We reevaluate after 90 days to increase your pay)
Bi-Weekly Pay Only - Do not expect to get paid at the end of your first week. It also depends on the day you start in our pay period as to the weeks or hours you do get paid on your first check. You are paid on a bi-weekly basis every two week after your first check. We do 1/2 hour lunches. It's recommended that you bring your own cooler with proper drink and food to get you through the day.
