PLUMBING
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems
- Inspect plumbing systems to identify leaks, malfunctions, or other issues
- Use hand and power tools to cut, bend, and join pipes
- Install water heaters, faucets, sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures
- Repair or replace damaged pipes, valves, and fixtures
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure plumbing systems operate efficiently
- Read blueprints and follow specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure plumbing systems are integrated with overall building plans
- Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate safety equipment
- Provide clients with detailed reports and recommendations for plumbing repairs or upgrades
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a plumber in the construction or maintenance industry
- Proficient in plumbing techniques and use of plumbing tools
- Familiarity with water heater installation, pipe fitting, and fixture installation
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials or equipment
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
- Valid plumber’s license and certification
- Valid driver’s license for transportation to job sites
PAINTERS
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks
- Apply primer and paint to various surfaces including walls, ceilings, and trim using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Install and remove wallpaper and other wall coverings
- Perform touch-ups and repairs on existing paint jobs
- Protect surrounding areas and furniture with drop cloths and masking tape
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
- Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
- Proficient in using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Familiarity with different painting techniques and materials
- Ability to mix and match paints to achieve desired colors
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, and lifting
- Knowledge of safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
- Valid driver’s license for transportation to job sites
