LIST OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF EMPLOYMENT POSITION OF
WELDER
The following qualifications, duties and functions are considered to be essential:
A. WELDING SKILLS:
1. ARC (STICK) welding-all positions, low hydrogen, hard facing.
2. MIG flux core, hard wire.
B. CUTTING SKILLS:
1. OXY/ACET. Hand Cut 1/8" -1" steel plate.
C. FABRICATION SKILLS:
1. Repair concrete manhole forms (steel)
2. Assemble new parts for above forms
3. Repair/Build new and any other equipment for the facility.
D. SHOP EQUIPMENT:
1. Drill press.
2. Iron worker.
E. BLUEPRINT SKILLS:
1. Able to build off prints or sketches.
F. LAY-OUT SKILLS:
1. Lay-out irregular shapes.
