Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong commitment to quality and safety. You will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, or stick welding techniques as required.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and cutting.
Assemble and join metal parts and components using welding equipment.
Inspect finished welds for quality and structural integrity.
Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet project deadlines.
Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding preferred.
Proven experience as a welder, with proficiency in various welding methods.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in welding operations.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
Working Conditions:
Work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
May require standing for extended periods and working in awkward positions
