Delivery Driver and Shop Assistant Wanted - Modern Mower
Job Description:
Modern Mower is seeking a dependable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our growing team! You will be responsible for picking up and delivering equipment and riding mowers to our valued customers safely and efficiently. Durring rare downtime, washing equipment and performing basic shop dutys.
$18 - $22 an hour depending on qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport riding mowers and equipment between customer locations and our facility.
Accurately load and secure equipment on trailers.
Professionally interact with customers, providing exceptional customer service.
Complete daily paperwork and maintain delivery records.
Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of vehicles and trailers.
Durring downtime, washing equipment, and taking care of basic shop functions as needed
Ability to train in a more technical role if desired.
Requirements:
Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for commercial transport - small pickup, 12 foot trailer. (CDL A not Req)
Clean driving record (verified upon hiring).
Proven ability to safely back up and maneuver a 6 x 12 trailer in tight and challenging spaces. (small pickup, standard trailer)
Outdoor power equipment / small engine knowelege a plus.
Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy equipment as necessary.
