Straight truck/Expeditor position open for solo driver or team.
at Load One Transport,
13221 Inkster Rd, Taylor, MI 48180
This is an over the road position, 2-3 weeks on the road.
Truck is a 2015 Freightliner Cascadia Straight truck, mini fridge, ThermoKing APU, Power Inverter.
We pay fuel, tolls, maintenance.
Drivers receive 40% of load pay.
Drivers must have Class-B or Class-A license.

To qualify with Load One Transportation, you must meet the following criteria:
-Applicant must be 24 years of age
-Straight truck applicants must have a minimum of 1 year verifiable over-the-road/interstate straight truck or tractor trailer operating experience in the last 3 years
-Independent Contractor must have a good safety record
-No more than 2 moving violations in the last 24 months or 3 in the last 36 months, no more than 2 preventable or 1 DOT recordable accidents in the last 36 months
-No DUI convictions in the past 5 years and no more than 1 lifetime. No convictions ever in a CMV
-Applicant must possess a valid operatoras license, with the proper endorsements, for the type of vehicle being operated. (Class A, Class B, and chaufferas license where applicable)
-No more than 1 serious violation as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (such as reckless driving or speeding greater than 15 miles per hour over the limit) are allowed in the last 3 years. Upon review
-All criminal offenses will be reviewed against the driving position, customer, TSA, and cross-border requirements
-Must have valid DOT physical (long form and card) with a minimum of 3 months prior to expiration. All others will be required to take a new DOT physical
-Pass Drug screening (pre-employment)
-Applicants are encouraged, but not required, to have a valid passport, enhanced drivers license, birth certificate, or a FAST card. Having these valid documents will allow you more freight opportunities with customers that require additional I.D. requirements.

-Green Card (if applicable)
-DD214 if served in U.S. Armed forces during the past 3 years
-Nationwide cell phone (maintained operable and functional)
-Speak, Read, Write and understand English proficiently
-Any detectable trace of either alcohol or drugs found during any authorized alcohol or drug test will invalidate the owner operator, owner operator-drivers application for a owner operator, owner operator-driver position
