PDW Performance Driven Workforce is now hiring Full Time Electrical Technicians for an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier. The Electrical Technicians will select, measure, and prepare electrical wiring and perform instrument startup, calibration, and function and safety testing on the product. This Full Time Electrical Technician position offers an AM Day shift plus Overtime as needed and based in Allen Park, MI. Responsibilities:
Assemble, install, and perform functional and safety tests on wiring using hand tools and proper assembly techniques by following work instructions (prints, cut sheets, sample harnesses)
Follow blueprints, bill of materials (BOM), schematics, and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).
Maintain clean and organized workspace
Inventory tracking of project parts and supplies
Quality validation of wire harness assemblies
Teardown and/or rework of donor harnesses
Effectively communicate with cross functional teams on collaborative projects
Provide world class products and services
Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up.
Shift Schedule:
AM Day shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday, plus Overtime as needed)

Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Proficient with hand and power tools
Ability to understand electronic schematics and electronic part documentation
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Able to work overtime and weekends
Must have own tools and rolling tool box
Preferred Skills:
Automotive high voltage experience
Certificate in Engineering Technology or related
National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification(s)
Experience with automotive powertrain systems or electric battery systems
Knowledge of vehicle systems (powertrain, chassis, electrical, thermal, exteriors, interiors, etc.)
and related components, component materials & fasteners
