We are a intermodal trucking company in Detroit with a fleet of 100+ intermodal (container) chassis and dry vans, looking for a certified mechanic to maintain and service our equipment.
Position Details:
Pay: $23 – $26/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
6-Month Review: PTO eligibility and potential pay raises based on performance and work ethic
Growth opportunity to expand into a multi-mechanic shop and handle road service calls
Requirements:
Certified mechanic with experience in fleet, heavy equipment, or trucking maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
Reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow with the company
. Must possess state of MI air brake certs for heavy duty equipment (intermodal chassis, trucks and dry vans)
