Family Owned and Operated company is seeking a self-motivated and qualified Diesel Technician to maintain a company fleet of semi's, straight trucks, dry vans and service vehicles at our Detroit terminal.
We are looking for an Indvidual that has computer and engine diagnostic abilities. We utilize ESA, Davie4, Insite and JPRO. Applicants should hold a Class A endorsement, have a complete set of tools and have the ability to work well in a team environment. We have multiple locations, and all terminals work together to support and resolve all equipment defects and then report the completed repairs to the Maintenance Director. Applicants need knowledge of air brake systems, electrical diagnostics, after treatment systems, engine components and replacements.
We perform preventive maintenance services, annual inspections, mileage base maintenance (i.e. oil changes, inspections, and lubricating equipment) Welding and cutting torches abilities are positive but not required.
