Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Intermodal Dispatcher with experience handling both domestic and international containers (boxes). The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating loads, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring all shipments are delivered on time and with precision.
Responsibilities
Coordinate intermodal freight moves for domestic and international containers.
Communicate daily with drivers, customers, and carriers to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries.
Track loads, resolve delivery issues, and ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.
Build and maintain relationships with customers and carriers to drive sales and improve retention.
Accurately enter load details, updates, and documentation into the system.
Requirements
✅ Proven Intermodal Dispatch experience (domestic and international).
✅ Dry Van dispatch experience required.
✅ Strong ability to manage time-sensitive freight and meet delivery schedules.
✅ Excellent communication and negotiation skills with customers and carriers.
✅ Self-motivated and capable of handling a fast-paced work environment.
✅ Ability to generate and close sales opportunities.
✅ Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office tools.
