We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance & Custodial Staff Member to help keep our facility clean, safe, and operating smoothly. This role is critical in ensuring that guests have the best possible experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, take pride in their work, and be comfortable performing both cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform daily cleaning of the skating rink, restrooms, concession areas, party rooms, and common spaces.
-Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize high-traffic areas.
-Handle trash removal and recycling duties.
-Conduct light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor repairs, and reporting larger issues.
-Assist with skate and equipment upkeep as needed.
-Monitor the facility during events to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
-Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
-Communicate any safety hazards or facility issues to management promptly.
Qualifications
-Previous custodial, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred but not required.
-Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (depending on event schedule).
-Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment.
-Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout a shift.
-Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
-Strong teamwork and communication skills.
