Responsibilities Manager:
- Manage daily operations of the shop, including overseeing repairs, maintenance, and customer service.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for vehicle repairs and services.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of parts and materials.
- Train and supervise shop staff, including mechanics and technicians.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Responsibilities Body Men:
- Working on vehicles.
- Must have their own tools.
Experience:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in auto restoration, assembly, and repair.
- Proficient in customer service to effectively communicate with clients.
- Experience in auto estimating for accurate cost assessments.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, including routine inspections and repairs.
- Familiarity with auto body repair techniques, including welding and painting.
Body Man Requirements:
- Must be state certified or eligible to renew their certification.
- Must have their own tools.
- Must have 5 years experience with using 100% of their own tools.
Manager Requirements:
- Proven experience as a shop manager or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Must be able to write estimates and supplements.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address issues that may arise during repairs or customer interactions.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
