Truck Dispatcher Wanted!
Macomb County Based – Fleet of 30 Trains and Semis
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and dispatch loads to drivers in a timely and efficient manner
Monitor driver locations and delivery schedules using GPS tracking systems
Communicate with drivers, brokers, and customers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
Troubleshoot delays, reroute drivers when necessary, and manage issues proactively
Maintain detailed records of load information, driver logs, and customer updates
Qualifications:
1+ year of experience as a dispatcher in the trucking or logistics industry (preferred)
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and industry rates
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Familiarity with dispatching software and GPS tracking tools
