This position is based in Wyoming, MI, and the ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of accounting experience, excellent communication skills, and a bachelor's degree. Responsibilities:
Payroll:
Efficiently manage and process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Invoicing:
Generate and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner, keeping detailed records of transactions.
Customer Service:
Interact with clients and vendors, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries related to financial matters.
Billing / Accounts Receivable:
Oversee billing processes, monitor accounts receivable, and implement effective strategies to ensure timely payments.
Working with Factoring Companies:
Collaborate with factoring companies to optimize cash flow and manage financial transactions effectively.
Using Trucking Industry Accounting Programs:
Utilize specialized accounting software tailored to the trucking industry, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in Excel programs
Well-organized with a keen attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Minimum of two years of accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Familiarity with trucking industry accounting practices
Salary Range:
$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience
