Helping with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits
Performing other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned
Reconciling and balancing general ledger accounts
Input data
Put together monthly journal entries
Investigating and correcting account discrepancies
Facilitating full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes Requirements - Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
Excellent attention to detail
Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
Adeptness in Microsoft Excel
General familiarity with grant accounting
Coding Invoices experience highly preferred
Practical knowledge of Approved Invoices
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Background working with Approved Invoices
Demonstrated knowledge of Nonprofit Organizations
Earlier work involving Code Invoices
Basic Bookkeeping experience
Solid understanding of payroll
Bookkeeping experience preferred
Bookkeeping Functions experience highly desired
Required: 1 year of accounting experience
Preferred education is an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
