Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a civil engineering position based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.This position is expected to begin in January & May 2025The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Builds analytic and design skills.
Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
Performs work by agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
Must be a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or higher focusing on Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AutoCAD and/or Bentley CAD drafting software.
Experience in Highway Alignment Design.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
