Description Robert Half is seeking a mid-level Graphic Designer for a long-term employment opportunity with a Grand Rapids based client in the Manufacturing industry. The job is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan but open to candidates remotely who can travel occasionally for team building opportunities. This role requires the creation and design of various materials for print and digital collateral. The individual will be working closely with cross-functional teams like marketing, sales, and product management. Responsibilities: Creating and designing various materials for print and digital collateral, including brochures, flyers, templated product sell sheets, technical whitepapers, PowerPoints, and sales materials. Performing retouching, resizing, and manipulation of images and infographics. Prioritizing and managing multiple creative projects. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product management. Demonstrating flexibility and creativity in handling multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment. Utilizing skills in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel. Delivering work in line with the industry standards of the Semi-Conductors and Electric Component Manufacturing industry. Adapting to the fast-paced work environment and meeting the deliverable deadlines. Collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals. Continuously updating and improving technical skills to stay current in the rapidly evolving Graphic Design field. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field is required Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry, Automotive Paint or Color Processing Industry, or a highly technical industry Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud is essential Experience with creating digital designs for various platforms Ability to produce technical white papers for a wide range of audiences Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for presentation creation and editing Strong visual design skills, including a keen eye for good typography, composition, and meticulous attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively while meeting deadlines Must possess a portfolio showcasing original design work.
