Description We are in the search for a skilled HR Recruiter to join our team in the food manufacturing industry based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity where you will be tasked with managing the entire recruitment process, collaborating with managers to understand required job skills and qualifications, and ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations.Responsibilities: Oversee the entire recruitment process, from drafting job descriptions to coordinating hiring efforts. Develop strategic initiatives for recruiting a diverse range of talent. Collaborate closely with various managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the job skills and qualifications required. Establish and maintain robust relationships with job agencies and headhunters. Regularly provide progress reports on the recruitment process. Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Assist in the planning and execution of staff training sessions and seminars. Maintain accurate employee records and paperwork. Leverage skills in Full Cycle Recruiting, Conducting Interviews and Applicant Screening. Utilize Microsoft Office Suites and Paylocity for efficient workflow. Requirements Must have experience in Full Cycle Recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and hiring Proficient in conducting Background Checks and Applicant Screening Knowledgeable in handling Benefit Functions and Benefits Administration Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration Ability to conduct Interviews and Prescreening of candidates Proficient in using Paylocity and Microsoft Office Suites Experience in Resume Screening Should have an understanding of HR laws and regulations Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred Proven track record of meeting and exceeding hiring goals Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build relationships with candidates and internal teams Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
