Job Title: Electronics Repair Technician C Job Location: Grand Rapids, MI Schedule: (ie 9/80, 4/10, etc…) 1st shift Job Description: Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments. Essential Functions:

Technician is responsible testing, troubleshooting, and calibrating avionics electronics

You will work from drawings, diagrams, customer specifications, schematics and/or test procedures Diagnose and analyze problems utilizing a variety of test equipment

Document test findings and diagnose and analyze problems utilizing a variety of test equipment

Provides input for process improvements and development of top-level test procedures.

Ensure we have correct functionality of units under test and test equipment.

Working knowledge of statistical process control as applied to related assembly, inspection and test processes

Utilize methodical and logical reasoning processes to resolve complex technical issues

Collaborate with all functional groups on various projects.

Maintain accurate records, fill out logs accurately, and explain defects found-clearly and concisely

Qualifications:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Soft skills (I.E. Proficient in MS Office, Strong communication…)
