Please review the job profile below and apply today!Currently, Meijer is looking for a Property Management Manager. The goal of the Property Management-In-Store License Team is to maximize the lease value of the property by maintaining maximum occupancy levels and rent revenue. At the same time, building traffic inside the Meijer store and enhancing the shopping experience for the Meijer customer..Key Deliverables: The Property Management Manager is responsible for leasing and administering leases for all in-store license space and other property Meijer leases to outside entities. These responsibilities include:
Solicit new tenants with an emphasis on nationally brand recognized, locally brand recognized, and tenants that provide a benefit to the communities we serve.
Negotiate lease/license agreements for all locations.
Establish and maintain good relationships with all Meijer tenants.
Develop and implement marketing strategies for vacancies.
Identify and develop new potential tenant opportunities.
Coordinate and administer all lease/license agreements, contracts, rent, renewals, etc.
Manage vacant and occupied tenant spaces.
Coordinate temp wall installation in conjunction with termination and ensure space is delivered in an acceptable condition.
Establish and maintain good working relationship between tenants and store leadership.
Manage tenant/store relations and maintenance issues.
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up as required to support finance team.
Coordinate review and approval of construction plans and signage requests.
Ensure the timely completion of tenant space construction activities in new and existing stores.
Coordinate with Meijer Properties Project Management Team to insure tenant build-out in existing stores, new stores and remodels is done economically and timely.
Coordinate tenant space opening with the host store.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
Five (5) years experience in real estate related functions with at least three (3) years in retail real estate.
Must have excellent organizational, analytical, written and communicative skills.
Strong negotiating and leadership skills
