Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan. The role involves various responsibilities centered around front office management in our organization. Responsibilities: Operating the front desk and managing incoming calls on a multi-line phone system. Handling mail and packages, ensuring accurate distribution and delivery within the organization. Welcoming guests professionally and assisting them as required. Managing an efficient reception area, ensuring it's well-organized at all times. Utilizing skills in handling medical front office tasks when necessary. Assisting in various departmental tasks as needed. Ensuring effective communication and coordination within the team. Maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor while answering inbound calls. Utilizing a telephone answering system to manage calls effectively. Adhering to the standard operating procedures and guidelines of the organization. Requirements Demonstrated experience in receptionist duties or similar roles Ability to work part-time hours Prior experience in a medical front office is highly desirable Excellent skills in assisting guests and providing high-quality customer service Experience in handling and distributing mail within a department Proven ability to answer multi-line phone systems and manage inbound calls Proficiency in using a telephone answering system Ability to answer calls and inquiries professionally Strong organizational skills for managing mail deliveries and distributing incoming mail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and colleagues Proficiency in basic computer software, such as MS Office Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask High school diploma or equivalent qualification Willingness to undergo any necessary training Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
