Job DescriptionThis position provides executive and administrative assistant activities, performing a full range of highly confidential and sensitive administrative functions for the Chief of Staff (Senior Executive Assistant Deputy Director) of the Michigan Veteran Homes (MVH). These responsibilities include: coordinating MVH office management activities; collecting materials,preparing, composing, editing and prooing of all correspondence; screening appointments; coordinating meetings; coordinating travel; preparing meeting agendas; taking meeting minutes; maintaining files and record keeping; preparing PowerPoint presentations; preparing and editing Excel spreadsheets; preparing speeches; maintaining financial records; completing travel reimbursement vouchers; maintaining and updating tables, charts, phone lists, addresses and databases; managing SIGMA for MVH staff; providing administrative support to other senior staff of the MVH as required by the Chiefof Staff.To view the full position description, please clickhere (https://MCSC.state.mi.us/AgencyPDFs/MVH-24-100 PD.pdf) .This is a limited term position (appointment has an expiration date) .
