Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Specialized Software Developer: III (Senior) in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan. In the role, you will design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs. You will also collaborate with other development staff to ensure quality and consistency across our software development lifecycle.Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with multiple teams to implement various integrations Maintain operational and system level documentation Review and provide feedback on functional requirements analysis and design documents Attend brainstorming and troubleshooting sessions to resolve issues and improve system integrations Implement changes in production after validating in lower environments Review incident tickets and work orders, and follow up with users to address their concerns promptly Use your problem-solving skills to proactively identify and address gaps in the systems integrations Build and maintain scalable Integration with cloud platforms and various security tools Utilize your SQL and PowerShell skills to manage Active Directory Users and Groups Utilize your XML and JSON knowledge to work with RESTful API Manage ServiceNow and HR System Workday/SAP integrations Perform other responsibilities as required. Requirements Proficient in SQL, Active Directory, Cloud Technologies, Integration, REST API, R Code, Microsoft Azure, XML Technologies, Workday, Work Orders, Brainstorming, JSON, SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle, Scalability, Debug Application, Servicenow Application, PowerShell, Code Review, and HR System Excellent ability to design, produce, and review high-quality software solutions Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving software issues Strong documentation skills to effectively detail software designs, code changes, and other related areas Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently Demonstrated experience in software quality assurance and scalability Exceptional skills in brainstorming and implementing innovative software solutions Experience in working with HR systems would be an advantage Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) Solid experience with REST API, R code, and Microsoft Azure Proficiency in XML technologies, Workday, and Work Orders Excellent ability to debug applications and perform code reviews Experience with Servicenow application and PowerShell would be beneficial Familiarity with Cloud Technologies and integration methodologies Extensive experience in SQL and Active Directory.
