Sterile Processing Technician Trainee-Grand Rapids

Employment Type:Full timeShift:Description:What the Sterile Processing Technician Trainee will do:

Trainee under the direction of a Team member will be able to perform all of the basic aspects of a Sterile Processing Technician, including, but not limited to: Decontamination, instrument inspection, assembly, wrapping, sterilization, case cart assembly and basic inventory management.

May be required to enter an active surgical case to pick up and/or deliver instruments for a needed case.

This will require a basic knowledge of a sterile field and moving within a sterile environment.

Will be required to document worked performed within various computer applications and equipment logs.

What the Sterile Processing Technician I will need:

High school diploma or equivalent.

What the Sterile Processing Technician I will work:

Full Time,

40 hours per week

1st shift; 8a-5p for 1st 6 months, then 2nd or 3rd shift
