Responsibilities: Assist in preparation of signal design and maintenance of traffic plans. Perform signal design plans to include: Traffic Signals, Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon, Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB), Pedestrian signals, Push buttons. Prepare plans for construction, including signal details, pavement markings, specifications and special provisions for construction. Develop Maintenance of Traffic Plans (MOT) for various design projects. Leading designated projects and reporting progress to senior staff Coordinate work with other engineers, CAD designers, and others who assist in specific assignments as needed. Attend field meetings with review agencies and clients. Occasional travel for field work is required; Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree required; 1 - 4 years of related experience required; FE/EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months Familiarity with Michigan (County, City, State) permitting; Detail oriented and self-starter; Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
