Porter Job Description:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, the Porter performs work necessary to maintain efficient operation and upkeep of the property grounds. Our ideal candidate possesses the willingness to deliver excellent customer service while providing a high-quality living environment.
Porter Duties:
Caring for the overall cleanliness and curb appeal of the Community.
Trimming, raking of leaves, sweeping of parking lot, and other landscaping duties.
Daily trash removal from property buildings, dumpsters, and grounds surrounding the buildings.
Performing tasks to assist the maintenance team, such as preventative maintenance to buildings, moving appliances, inspections, painting, trash out of units and light maintenance.
Responding to resident requests in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
Willing to work outdoors in hot and cold weather

Porter Qualifications:
General knowledge of daily maintenance for grounds keeping/landscaping of residential property buildings.
Ability to problem solve and decision making.
Ability to safely operate small hand tools and mechanical equipment.
Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Possesses reliable transportation.
